Memorial Day

Memorial Day was forcasted to be sunny. It wasn't. We went hiking anyway and had a great time. At least it was not crowded!! We went to the Wildwood Interpretive Trail near Welches, OR. Very beautiful. One thing that I did not get a picutre of was an area that had large plexiglass windows such that we could see a cross section of the stream. We saw a few small fish in the water and some cool bugs. It was reall neat.

Lance wants to make a bench like this:
Ezra enjoying the hike.

Rain gear on. Beautiful Sandy River in the background.

Mom and the boys in rain gear!

A field of skunk cabbage. It smelled a lot like skunk.

A fun day, despite, or maybe because of the rain.

Beautiful.....and rain means green! We have had rain almost every day....even today when it was in the 80's we had thunder and lightening and rain. Weird for here. But we don't get the 'green' with the rain! Sad! I love the bench. You all look BEAUTIFUL to me.....I miss you all so much!
