Tulip Festival

Here are some pictures from a while ago. The kids had a day off school on a Thursday, so we went with some friends to the Woodburn Tulip Festival. They had cow roping. . .

. . . a huge slide made out of PVC pipe that was not rolly so it was like sliding down a wash-board (I know because I went down). . .

. . . rubber ducky water pump races that kept the kids entertianed for a LONG time. . .
. . . especially Jarom. . .
. . . Ezra in a backpack. . . (that wasn't really part of the festival, just made it more convienant for me). . .
. . . wooden things to get your picture with. . .

. . .and tulips, OF COURSE!!
It was rainy for our pic nic, but we had a great time. There was also a huge pile of hay bales that the kids played in with tunnels and a slide, but I did not get any pictures of that-- Oh well!

Oh, and the slide would have been lots of fun if the pvc pipe was rolly. Plus the water pump thing was neat....I would have had tons of fun with that with Jarom and Dylan!

Meri, I found your blog through Jessica's. Your kids look great and you look like you are a wonderful, involved mother (not that I would expect anything different from you!). That looks so fun, and cool and wet! Sometimes I so miss Oregon!
