More SNOW.

This is what I do not like about snow: Its a WET, drippy mess and its not going away any time soon. Snow clothes are cumbersome with the many layers. Oh how I long for a "mud room."

Compare this photo of our curly willow with the post from yesterday. The top half of our tree has broken off. Yes, those bent branches are broken. Notice that you can barely see the rock wall that is normally about 2 ft off the grass.
Again, compare this picture to the post yesterday-- a bit more snow and ice.

Summer's snowman is burried.

Dylan took this picture of an icicle hanging from our roof. We just don't see weather like this in Oregon very often.

Dylan and Jarom are playing outside.

Jarom is holding a giant chunk of ice.

This icicle is hanging on my neighbor's house across the street. I took this from my front door-- not really wanting to venture too far out into the elements.

Look at how much ice is covering our branches. There are so many broken trees and branches all over the city.

Here's our Christmas corner. We have been extremely blessed this year. We are thankful to all of our friends and family and for really BIG boxes that make our tree look even fuller. What the kids don't know is that I am good at disguising small things in big packages. Aren't I sneeky? We feel pretty spoiled and are grateful for the great experiences and memories to come!! I am also grateful that I got all of my shopping done BEFORE all of this nasty weather hit. I had a feeling that I needed to be done early. Now I know why.

Love the picture of the snow clothes! That is exactly what I have right now too. The snow is so fun, but I'm starting to get tired of it, I'm ready for normal life again. Your Christmas decorations look so pretty!

Wow.....and snow clothes are a MESS. The thing that I always thought was the hardest about winter is that everyone wears socks, and then when it is cold and snowy, it makes more and more socks, then back to the laundry issue!
The snow/ice is AMAZING (but kind of fun, except for the destruction it causes to the trees). The kids are sweet, and I think your Christmas house looks fabulous!

I love the mountains of presents under the tree and the mountains of snow clothes by the door. Our presents are about half wrapped... and the clothes are in big clean piles on my bed. Too bad we're supposed to leave at 9am tomorrow for Idaho, or I wouldn't be stressed about finishing everything for Christmas. :)
