Test Results

Blood work: NORMAL

At this point I think we have exhausted the necessary tests. Ezra's brain is fine: he does not have epilepsy or tumors. His heart is fine: no holes or disproportionate parts. His blood is fine: no electrolyte unbalance or diabetes. He just faints.

We are going to monitor and record for now. If symptoms change or gets worse, we will resume testing, but for now we will just make sure he is watched carefully on his "fainting days."

Somehow through Grandpa Dale we have a relative that started fainting when she was two. She is now 18. She has been through all of the testing and everything came back "normal." She deals with it. She can drive, just pulls over when she feels the faint coming on. She can swim, just goes to the side when she is feeling it coming. I can already see that Ezra has warning when he knows he will faint. I think it is very similar.

So glad to hear that he doesn't have anything serious. How interesting about your relative. I hope he grows out of it. I'll keep praying for him.

That is so interesting. You guys have really been on my mind so I'm so glad that it doesn't seem to be anything serious. Probably doesn't make it any easier though to see your 2 year old faint. We'll continue to keep him in our prayers.

How very frustrating. Doctor don't know everything.
