Silver Falls

My friend, Melissa and I took a bunch of kids on a hike at Silver Falls. We had Summer, Dylan, Jarom, Ezra, Gavin, Kameron, Kamile, Kimberlee, Kennah, and Avey. Yep, thats 2 adults and 10 kids on a 3 mile hike. It was beautiful!! And yes! We are CRAZY!!

In a cave behind the falls. Very cool!
There were lots of columns in the rock. I am standing below Dyaln and taking the picture looking straight up. Dylan was being like a monkey-- climbing all over.

This was a very cool old stump. HAD to climb it.

"Its raining, its pouring, the old man is snoring." Actually we are walking behind the falls and looking out from behind. It was really cool.

A neat log in the middle of the creek.

I think Ezra had enough hiking for one day-- and he was being carried.

Melissa and I had both done the triathlon the Saturday before, then went on the hike on Wednesday. We were both more tired and sore after the hike than the triathlon. I don't know if it was carrying the extra weight of Ezra for the majority of the hike, but we were sore and tired.

Gorgeous hike and what a fun cave! You are very ambitious to take 10 kids on a 3 mile hike. No wonder you were sore and tired climbing on everything and carrying Ezra :)

Oh, just one other comment, picnic is one word. Just FYI.
And thanks for all of the cute pictures that put me 'there'. It is GREAT. I sure love and miss you all.
