Dylan is a wonderful person to have around. He is fun-loving and kind to his younger brothers and his sister. He is very helpful and loves to be part of family chaos-- whatever is going on, he likes to be a part of it. He is usually around to help make dinner, but mom wonders if it is just because he hopes it will expedited the process of dinner being served. Dylan has a fun-teasing relationship with dad. They are always "instigating" a wrestling match. Dylan loves to build lego creations with his younger brothers-- I think he likes having his younger brothers around to keep him playing with toys. Dylan also loves to draw. He will look up animals and scenery on the computer and draw them from the screen for hours at a time. Dylan is a knife collector. He has several very cool knives in his collection, but is always looking for a new one to add. Dylan is a very good student. He comes home from school and gets right to work on his homework, and works and works until it is finished. Dylan also plays football. When Ezra was little, he coudn't say Dylan's name, so he called him "football." The nickname stuck. Last year he was the starting corner back and wide receiver for his team-- which was undefeated through the regular season. We are very proud of the young man that Dylan is and pray that he continues on a path which leads to success and happiness. He currently desires to become a doctor of sports medicine, a very worthy goal to have. We love having "Football" in our family!!

Happy Birthday to Dylan (A belatted post)
Dylan turned 13 on June 9th this year. He officially entered "teenage-hood." We celebrated after school on his birthday. Dad picked him up a little early from school. Dylan wanted Krispy Kream donuts instead of a cake, so they picked up some fresh donuts on the way home. There were LOTS of presents awaiting Dylan. What could they be?
Dylan got all of his favorite snacks, lots of new clothes, and a fly-tying kit from Dad.
Look at all those yummy snacks! Mom made "apple candy" as an extra special snack for Dylan.
