Ezra Gets an MRI

Ezra awaits the MRI of his brain sporting comfy hospital-issue froggy pjs and playing a little bead maze.  The nurse gave him some versed which made him extremely loopy and unable to walk a straight line without falling over-- kind of like he was drunk.  It made the separation anxiety disappear-- very helpful to a mother's heart to have her baby taken away to some unknown procedure.  Instead he happily waved "Bye, Dad!!!!" in the arms of the doctor that took him to the other room.  I guess he showed off his feet to the doctor before he was sedated.  Usually, he likes to show off his shoes, but he was not wearing any, so he showed his feet.

This is Ezra after the MRI, still sedated.  He looks so tiny and pathetic.  He woke up nicely after the sedation-- a little confused, but not fussy or too disoriented.

Test results "normal."  Nothing appears wrong with his brain.  He had a echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) on the same day.  Also, normal results.

So, why does my 2 yr old faint multiple times in a day every two weeks?

I just don't think that baby's and hospitals go together. I think you're supposed to be 90.

Merilee, you've got to be so frustrated not to have any answers. This so weird. I sure hope it really is nothing, but so strange that he's fainting.
