Here is Jarom, all ready for his first day of school. He was SO excited that he woke up really early and would not even eat breakfast. He already has a "best friend," Connor, who we met at the park the week before school started.
Jarom's first assignment was to create a paper person that looked like himself. We got to stay for the first hour and watch him get settled and listen to all the rules. His teacher's name is Mrs. LeRud. She is very nice and kindergarteny (if that is a word). She had lots of patience in explaining things to the kids. I think Jarom will have a great year!!
Jarom LOVES to ride the bus to and from school, which is just fine with me. After more than a week of going to school, he still will not eat breakfast very well. I have to threaten to "drive him to school" to get him to eat. He and Connor are fast becoming best friends. They have had several play-dates already. On his first play-date, Jarom woke up at 5:45 SO excited to play with Connor after school. Connor starts the full day, Kinderday, program this week so his mom can work during the day as a nurse (as opposed to every weekend), Connor was so upset that he would not be able to ride the bus home with Jarom any more and talk about Star Wars.
Of course, Jarom's favorite part about school is recess. I am glad he is enjoying it.

Cute boy! I love the back pack, and the excitement of school. I hope it always is exciting.
What a sweet thing. I threaten driving the kids to school, too. They love riding their bikes while I run with Ben and Grace in the stroller.
